GET INvolved
We are passionate about our work and keen to share what we’re doing and learning. Here are a few ways you might want to get involved with our work.
How you can help our work:
-
Come and chat with us about the overall GCB project; how we’ve been doing devolved decision-making, what building community power and participation looks like for us.
Have a chat with us about anything that has sparked your imagination as you’ve looked at our website; any of the blogs, case studies or ideas we’ve written about.
-
Tell us about work you have been doing that is similar to ours in some way, so we can all pool our knowledge and/or explore ways of linking up.
-
Learn about and explore ways you can support or join one of our projects. Maybe you’re interested in community-based approaches to tackling mental health, or developing language support for refugees and asylum seekers, or building links between disparate communities, or building d/Deaf culture in a place?
IF YOU’RE A FUNDER:
This work is about relationship-building as a foundation for building community power and participation. It’s about finding ways of resources flowing differently in community, in a way that serves the people not the system and existing power structures, and learning along the way. All our funding currently comes from the Lankelly Chase Foundation but we’d love to speak to other experimental, learning-focused funders who are interested in the kinds of things we’re interested in and might like to participate.
